For its tenth anniversary, Valentina del Pearls’ Cabaret Burlesque is putting on a big show, bringing together the cream of the crop of French New Burlesque for a glamorous, funny, poetic and scathing stripping show!

Burlesque entertainment, a mixture of kinky cabaret and light comedy, had its heyday at the end of the 19th century in Parisian cabarets and then in the United States, from the 1920s to the 1960s, with the reign of the pin-up.

Revived in the 90s under the name of neo or new-burlesque, it flourished in alternative circles associated with the counter-culture.

Today, it is a plural art with poetic, comical or engaged stripping.

The elaborate staging, the retro aesthetics with feathers and glitter characterize this show full of good humor and communicative energy.
