Live Nation presents

Trippie Redd, currently in his twenties, is best known for his singles “Love Scars” and “Dark Knight Dummo”. The rapper lived his childhood in difficult conditions, his father being in prison at the time of his birth and absent thereafter. He grew up listening to contemporary rap thanks to his mother and began to idolize artists such as Lil Wayne, KISS, Gucci Mane and Nirvana.

In 2014, he took his passion for contemporary rap more seriously and recorded two songs at the age of 15: “New Ferrari” and “Sub-Zero”. After graduating from high school, he moved to Atlanta to pursue a musical career.

During his early years, he worked with artists such as Lil Wop, who introduced him to the world of rap. Redd released his first mixtape in May 2017: “A Love Letter to You” with the single “Love Scars”, which became a major hit for clubs, radio stations and certified “platinum” by the “RIAA” (American Recording Industry Association). A few months after its release, the single was seen more than eight million times on YouTube and listened to 13 million times on SoundCloud.

In October 2017, the rapper released his second mixtape, “A Love Letter to You 2”. The album reached 34th place on the Billboard 200 and was an immediate success, as was his previous mixtape. In the same month, Trippie Redd releases a collaborative EP with Lil Wop, Angels & Demons .

On August 10, 2018, he releases his first album, “Life’s a Trip”, with “Dark Knight Dummo” as the main single. His first studio album features collaborations with big names in the industry such as Travis Scott, Diplo and Young Thug. It ranks fourth in the “Billboard 200” chart and sells 72,000 copies in its first week. On June 20, 2019, the album is certified gold by the RIAA (American Recording Industry Association).

Trippie Redd releases his second studio album on August 9, 2019, entitled “! “an abbreviation for “immortal”, as a tribute to his late friend XXXTentacion. It illustrates the chameleon talents of the artist. It includes appearances by Diplo, The Game, Lil Baby, Lil Duke & Coi Leray. The rapper releases the main single from the album “Under Enemy Arms” on May 29, 2019
