BABY GANG

Zaccaria Mouhib was born in Lecco on 26 June 2001 to Moroccan immigrant parents. When he was just eleven years old, he left his family to avoid weighing down their difficult economic situation, but he came up against the strong prejudices of today's society towards his origins. Growing up on the streets, with no safe place to sleep and no reference figures, sometimes led him to break the law, until he discovered that he had a voice that did not go unnoticed, thanks to music.

His first song Street, posted on YouTube at the age of 17, was an unexpected success. Baby Gang began to believe in his artistic abilities, thanks also to the help of Don Claudio Burgio of the Kayros association, and began a new phase in his life. What will remain constant in his ascent up the charts will be his social and political choice to sing proudly of his origins and the difficulties he has been through.
