The team's view

The hardcore and trash metal scenes have been at their most prolific under California's sweltering sun. And there's no end in sight. The proof is in Fever 333, a superbly noisy quartet who imbue rap with radicalism and big distortions with decisive volume. Somewhere between Rage Against The Machine and Death Grips, this is a band with a formidable discography and an obvious stage presence. It's all happening at Le Bataclan on 27 November, and I promise you, it's going to shake things up!

Grammy-nominated rock band FEVER 333, fronted by Jason Aalon Butler, have released a powerful new song and music video for 'New West Order' on 333 Wreckords Crew / Century Media Records. The band, which includes drummer Thomas Pridgen (The Mars Volta, Thundercat, Trash Talk), bassist April Kae, guitarist Brandon Davis and frontman Jason Aalon Butler, are still brimming with the fervour and intensity for which the band is renowned. "New World Order" also proudly displays West Coast hip-hop influences, which have been integral to the identity of Butler, who grew up in Inglewood, California, and formed the band there in 2017.
