The team's view

Few musicians know how to marry jazz and hip-hop like Robert Glasper. A leading figure in both disciplines, the American pianist will be at Le Bataclan on 17 November 2024 for a breathtaking concert of mastery, grooves and colour. His latest album, 'Enigmatic', is a real gem, with guest appearances from such luminaries as Terrace Martin, Kamasi Washington and 9th Wonder. The crème de la crème, just like him.

Robert Glasper is the leader of a new musical paradigm, thanks to a career that has seen him bridge several musical and artistic genres. Winner of 5 Grammy Awards (nominated 12 times in 11 different categories), an Emmy Award for his track in the Ava Duvernay-directed documentary "13th" and a Peabody Award, his work and accolades span all aspects of the music industry, from live touring and songwriting to film soundtracks and production.

In the last 2 years alone, Glasper has achieved a variety of different successes: with his mixtape 'Fuck Yo Feelings' (featuring Herbie Hancock, YBN Cordae and Yebba) nominated for the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album, with the original music for the documentary 'The Apollo' or the film 'The Photography', during his residency at the Blue Note in NY for 56 sold-out shows that saw many stars such as Dave Chappelle, Tiffany Haddish, Chadwick Boseman, Q-Tip, Anderson.Paak and Angela Davis join him on stage, or with his supergroup Dinner Party, formed with Terrace Martin, Kamasi Washington and 9th Wonder.

He will be on stage at Le Bataclan in Paris on 17 November for an exceptional concert.
