An intense artist on the American experimental scene, John Maus completes his French tour at Le Bataclan for a special date on 4 December 2025. His cavernous cold synthpop with its pulsating rhythms is a language in its own right. The distinctive voice of this Minnesota native (with a PhD in Philosophy!) distils a biting irony mixed with a variety of influences: post-punk, Renaissance polyphony, Gregorian chants... A recipe that makes his long-awaited new album a timeless object. 7 years after Addendum, Later Than You Think (Beggars) is a powerful, radical and authentic cry that resonates deeply with the absurdity of the contemporary world.
