kwn (pronounced kay-wuhn) is an East London R&B artist renowned for her haunting vocals, intimate lyrics and unique blend of contemporary R&B and self-expression. Her music is characterised by expressive lyrics and powerful lyrics, often exploring themes such as love, relationships and the search for self.
In 2022, kwn released her debut EP episode wn, which showcased her artistic versatility and attracted a great deal of attention. She followed this up with a string of singles before unveiling her entirely self-produced track "eyes wide open". The track is about coming to terms with deep feelings and the inner dilemmas that come with them.
In early 2024, kwn collaborated with Jordan Adetunji on her single "Too Many Women", also appearing in the video. More recently, she joined forces with Kehlani for the remix and video of "worst behaviour". The track has already surpassed 1.5 million views in just one week, attracting media and public attention.
Since his debut in 2022, kwn has won over audiences and critics alike, receiving support from the likes of Billboard, NOTION, Wonderland, Hunger Magazine, Dazed, VIBE, as well as notable endorsements from BBC Radio 1, Destin Conrad, Timbaland, Kehlani, and many more.
