ORBITAL

Orbital, pioneers of British electronic music, are a duo formed by brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll, whose influence ranges from Björk to Bicep. It all began in 1989 with ‘Chime’, recorded at their parents’ house for less than five pounds, before becoming an anthem of the rave scene and entering the UK Top 20 in 1990.

With *The Brown Album*, the duo pushed the boundaries of electronic music by blending sonic experimentation with ambitious compositions. Throughout their career, Orbital have undertaken a host of daring projects, from film soundtracks to their performance at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Paralympic Games, alongside Stephen Hawking.

In 2024, Orbital are celebrating their debut with a reissue of *The Green Album* and an international tour showcasing their two iconic albums. Today, the duo continues this journey through their history with *Glastonbury 1994*, a previously unreleased live album recorded during their historic appearance at the festival. Restored and remastered from the original tapes, this record of a landmark concert is now available.
