We've been waiting for this for years. Years of playing Pray for Paris, Hitler Wears Hermes and And Then You Pray for Me over and over in our ears like a secret ritual. And on 31 May, Westside Gunn will finally set foot on a Paris stage, at Le Bataclan, as part of the Heel The World Tour.

Westside Gunn is a special case in the rap game. The boss of Griselda Records has built his empire brick by brick, with cinematic boom bap and a unique nasal flow that no one else could carry. Where others rap punchlines, he paints pictures - violent, luxurious, melancholy, always unexpected. An art collector and curator of genius, he has built an aesthetic all his own, somewhere between the streets of Buffalo and contemporary galleries.

Before Gunn takes to the stage, the evening is already shaping up to be a busy one: Smoke DZA, Feed The Family, Brother Tom Sos and DJ Relly Rell will be opening for Gunn. Heavy stuff, family, Griselda spirit from the start of the night.
Expect surprise featurings, rare B-sides and a setlist that veers between Flygod classics and his latest nuggets. It's the kind of night that will be talked about for a long time to come in demanding rap circles in France.
