About
Arc de Soleil is one of the many pseudonyms of composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Kadawatha.
Inspired by his father's love of the Spotnicks and their soaring guitar sound, Daniel grew up listening to his father play their songs on a homemade guitar amp. This early exposure to music shaped his musical tastes and influenced his decision to become a musician himself. Inspired as much by the vintage sound of The Shadows, the funk rhythms of Asha Bhosle, as well as contemporary artists like Khruangbin, he creates a unique style of his own, both nostalgic and innovative.
