GREEN LUNG

Following an exceptional 'back to basics' concert at Desertfest London this weekend, and in the wake of the announcement of their eagerly-awaited fourth studio album, Necropolitan (out Friday 11 September 2026), Green Lung have announced a dark crusade across the UK and Europe this winter... the Dance to the Grave Tour MMXXVI.
Special guests on this tour will be High On Fire, with Gnome as support act. The tour poster was designed by the band's regular collaborator, Richard Wells.
A true cult band in the truest sense of the word, Green Lung emerged from the London heavy rock scene with a self-released debut EP, 'Free the Witch' (2018).
Drawing on a range of decidedly British influences - from hard rock doom to pastoral prog, psychedelia and the Hammer Horror-style theatrics of the NWOBHM - the band quickly established themselves at the forefront of the UK metal scene.
Celebrating Britain's folklore, myths and legends in their lyrics, they invoke the wild and bewitching spirit of their predecessors for a new generation.
