About

Fresh from winning 3 solo Grammy Awards this year (Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance and Best Album ''Michael''), Killer Mike, founder of the American hip-hop group Run The Jewels, has announced an exceptional concert in Paris at Le Bataclan on 29 August!

Originally from Atlanta, Killer Mike is an outspoken rapper, actor and social activist who frequently addresses issues such as police violence and systemic racism in his lyrics, speeches and interviews. Discovered in 2000 through his collaboration with Outkast, Killer Mike made his solo debut with his album Monster, released in 2003. He set up his own label, Grind Time Official, and released a series of underground albums and mixtapes, as well as launching a career as an actor. Acclaimed on the release of his album ''R.A.P'' in 2012, produced by El-P, Killer Mike teamed up with El-P to form Run The Jewels. Combining politically-charged lyrics with devastating humour and hard-hitting experimental production, the duo enjoy a special aura in the rap world, not least thanks to their epic live shows. During the 2016 and 2020 US presidential campaigns, Killer Mike attracted media attention as a fervent supporter of Senator Bernie Sanders.

He will be in concert at Paris/Bataclan on 29 August.
