LEISURE is all about sophisticated purity, free-flowing groove and a sound aesthetic that's as relaxed as it is demanding. Electro-soul collective LEISURE will be in concert at Le Bataclan in Paris on 2 December 2025 to support the release of their album 'Welcome To The Mood', due out on 12 September.
In a world preoccupied with instant reward and overnight success, LEISURE have taken the scenic route: longer, but more rewarding. Individually, the five members, and friends, are award-winning songwriters and producers. Together, they decided to paint a new musical horizon: enjoying the ride and keeping it leisurely. For their fifth studio album, 'Welcome To The Mood', due for release on 12 September 2025, LEISURE continue to defy genre by refining their signature sound in a radiant new chapter - rooted in the conviviality, creative freedom and authenticity of an evolving band. They have also adopted an approach that is all the more akin to live performance.
They have continued to develop their sound, calling on specialist musicians - string sections, brass, piano and vocals - to push the sonic boundaries beyond their individual skills. Yet the album remains deeply personal. Written in isolated locations, the songs convey the tranquillity of escape while capturing an assumed emotional vulnerability.
