This concert promises a timeless performance. So much so that a new date for Divas Arabes, a tribute to the great voices of modern Oriental music by the Tunisian-Moroccan ensemble Mazzika Orchestra, has been added to the Bataclan's calendar. The show will take place on 9 November, and given the success of the show, it won't be long before tickets are snapped up. If everyone is snapping them up, it's not for nothing.

The world still vibrates to the voices of these Middle Eastern and North African divas, whose art and charisma will forever embody the golden age of Arab music. From Fairouz to Oum Kalthoum, via Warda, these women have fascinated more than one generation. Each had a unique path and a distinct style, but all embodied the dream of an egalitarian and progressive society. Even today, they remain the symbol of a golden era, full of enthusiasm, dreams and hope.
The Mazzika Orchestra, whose mission is to revive the legends of Arab music, will be revisiting the most beautiful tunes from their repertoires and reinventing a few gems and rarities from live performances during this concert.
