Svinkels are an iconic French rap trio, formed in 1997 by Gérard Baste, Nikus Pokus and Mr Xavier. Known for their unique style blending rap, punk and offbeat humour, they have made a name for themselves with provocative lyrics, often centred on alcohol, partying and self-mockery.

With influences ranging from the Beastie Boys to Cypress Hill, they have released several cult albums, including Tapis Rouge (1999), Bons pour l'Asile (2003) and Dirty Centre (2008). Popular live, especially at festivals, they have collaborated with DJ Pone, TTC and Parabellum, and remain a benchmark for their on-stage energy and non-conformist spirit.
