YOU ME AT SIX

15 November 2024 - 07:00 pm

The team's view

The British punks in You Me At Six play a brand of rock that could well have come from the southern United States, but with a pop appeal that anchors them in their homeland. The five musicians will be at Le Bataclan on 15 November 2024. Look out!

About

Max Helyer (guitar) and Josh Franceschi (vocals) formed You Me At Six in 2004. Prior to 2014, the band had released two EPs and three studio albums, gaining success for their pop punk cover of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face", as well as their 2008 singles "The Rumour" and "Gossip". The band's name, You Me at Six, comes from a popular expression used for meeting up, referring to the time when the members all met up at six o'clock to rehearse when they were younger.

In 2013, the band returned to Los Angeles to record a new album with producer Neal Avron. The resulting album, "Cavalier Youth", was released in January 2014, accompanied by the single "Lived a Lie" in September 2013. The band supported Thirty Seconds to Mars' "Love Lust Faith + Dreams Tour" in 2014. Their fifth album, 'Night People', was released on 13 January 2017. The band will be at Le Bataclan in Paris on 15 November 2024 for their comeback and reunion with their French fans.
